Footsteps Together

Writing has always been something that I've enjoyed. It's always been a therapy for me. Sometimes it was about sports, and sometimes it was writing an adventure for Dungeons and Dragons, but as I've entered into adulthood, worked for a while, got married, and had a child, my interests adjusted (though I still love sports and tabletop roleplaying).

I struggled for a while to figure out what I wanted the name of this place to be, and then as I was holding my son's hand while going for a walk, I thought about his tiny footsteps and my much larger footsteps, and how we get to the same destination, and sometimes he gets tired and needs a little help, but we still arrive at the destination together. That reminds me of life. Sometimes it takes us a billion tiny steps (often including some unfortunate backtracking), but it doesn't matter how long it takes. What matters is that we completed the journey and hopefully learned something along the way.

Through writing about the books I've enjoyed, updating my food and exercise logs, and sharing my thoughts on life and how to make the most out of it, I hope to learn about myself and become a better person. I hope that you'll join me on that journey.
